Who shoul be DT' new Drummer?

NOw that Mike Portnoy has shockingly left Dream theater for Avenged Sevenfold (citation needed), and the band has decided to carr on. WHo do you feel are the best choices to take over the Drum Throne. My choices are:

Nick D'virgilio (Spock's Beard).
COmpletley diffrent styled drummer than mike, But he is very talented, can play extremly technical and varied styles of music, and is a top notch singer.

Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree)
Just listen to his work on there last three albums, and to top it off, he is working with King Crimsonas their drummer too.

Tim Alexander (ex-Primus)
He may not do it, but hey...a Guy can dream.

Who do you think could come to the mantle.

Mike Portnoy left Dream Theater????!!!!!

I'm glad they're continuing, but they sure need a drummer, I wonder who it'll be.....

He left at the beginning of september. He did so many projects while the band took their break befor and after the Iron Maiden shows, and when it came time to reconviee he wanted to take a break so he culd work o evn more projects and he told the band that they had to take a break too. So he left when the band said o. Now he is crying because the band is continuing on and is excited about making new music. and though Mike is an amazing drummer, John Petrucci writes majority of the songs, and hopefully with a new drummer, they will begin doing more eclectic music likt they did when they frist began.
