As far as the original series goes, it's over. However, there's a spin-off series in the works.

i hope it is over i reely hate this show to me its pointless

If you really hate this show and think it's pointless then I do wonder why the hell you would bother coming onto IMBD, searching for Ben 10, going into the message boards just to let people know that you hope it is ending...
A very pointless action in itself.

Sometimes I think the internet is populated by scores of people who have no purpose but just have absolutely nothing better to do.

There was no Big Finale. The episode Goodbye and Good Ridance was technically the last episode. In the episode, Ben's seceret became public knowledge and he basically blew Vilgax to pieces. Ben 10 Vs The Negative 10 part 1 and 2 aired last but since the episode takes place while Ben, Gwen and Max are still on the road, they aren't the last episodes.

Wasn't "Goodbye and Good Ridance" just an alternative reality-episode (just like "Gwen 10")?

I had a hamster once, he commited suicide...

Meh, they say "Goodbye and Good Riddance" is technically the last episode in the series, still, there were two more final episodes - "Ben 10 vs the Negative 10", which is much rather an episode addition.

Though the series is over, a spin off is already officially announced and will be expected to be released on April 18th of this year.

Ben 10 vs the Negative 10 is set BEFORE "Goodbye and Good Riddance". B10 vs N10 was shown a while ago in America however they are only first getting "Goodbye and Good Riddance" today.

They probably didn't cancel it they just ended it, if they had canceled it there probably wouldn't be a sequel series. Cartoonnetwork always ends their shows after a set-point.

They didn't want to carry on the old one since it's supposed to be set during the summer. They chose to end it with season 4 and set this new show 5 years later to try new things. I reckon they made the new aliens have the combined powers of the old ones so then there could be more variation in the battle scenes since Ben can use a few different powers without having to switch between aliens.
