Was the CG on Crusoe. As an infant, they even included his little ribs visible through his skin and breathing movements, neck muscles and everything. He looked like this real little creature you could hold, and he didn't look fake at all, except for his bug eyes when he was a 'toddler' little water horse.
I'm a grown man, and I love this movie.

I'm glad this movie wasn't made 10 years ago when the CGI would have been less than stellar. As it is, the CGI Crusoe was absolutely convincing and likable as a genuine, breathing animal. Another wonderful aspect of this movie were all the lovely scenery. Absolutely picturesque.
