Night Feeders is well worth a viewing.

Knowing Jet Eller personally I can say that he is a film maker who LOVES the genre. He is talented and with a good budget is capable of turning out quality films. Night Feeders despite it's low budget is well filmed and technically competent. There is some witty dialog and the acting while uneven is good enough for the most part. The aliens are well rendered and for the most of the film kept in the shadows hightening the suspense. I recommend this film.

Well, gosh, Troll (and what an appropriate name) I'm sorry you didn't like the movie, but hey, you're certainly entitled to your opinion, which thankfully seems to be in the minority. Sorry to disappoint you, but the money went toward feeding the crew, renting equipment, and the usual things that go into making a movie (and no, white powder wasn't one of them)

As for the box art, that was the decision of the distributor, not us. If it makes you feel any better, we weren't particularly happy with it either, but what can you do? They own the rights now, not us.

And as far as I know, nobody's using multiple IDs. It's enough just coming on here with one ID, and I don't think anybody's shilling the movie, just offering their opinions like you.

Do please let me know when you've made your movie and gotten a distribution deal for it, so we can check it out and be sure to offer the same insightful, thought-provoking critcism you have.

And by the way, Gaul is the ancient name for Germany. I think the word you were looking for is gall, as in it doesn't take much to come to the faceless, nameless Internet and post crap about someone's else's efforts. It's certainly much easier than expending your own to do something useful, isn't it? (And judging by your number of posts, the Internet pretty much is your life. A shame really.)

I just love these self appointed "movie experts" that spout plain garbage, lies and half truths. Since I happen to be a one identity, real person and not a "shill" I can say that you troll don't know what the hell you are talking about. I have made a movie and work for a low-budget film company myself and know just how hard it is to get a film done, much less getting it distributed. Everything I said in my original post was the truth and I am so tired of these trash talking cowards that hide in cyberspace talking as though they were an authority on anything. Troll move one and talk your junk somewhere else. You know less about films then my 13 yo nephew.

To all the "other" people that watch and like low-budget indie films I can tell you agian that this film was made by skilled people who love movies and tried to do their best with what they had and I for one think they did a good job. I was not connected in any wway with the making of the film other then the fact that I know Jet Eller. Give his film a shot, not everyone will like it, big surprise, but it is better then alot of indie stuff I have seen in the past. I also am clearly biased towards this film over others so take my opinion with a grain of salt, then throw it on your popcorn and enjoy this little flick.

Stopped at the video store, walked past the lastest offerings from the Ashton Kutchers and Angelina Jolies of Hollywood, saw Night Feeders on the shelf and read the back of the box, came home and read the reviews here on IMDB, then purchased the dvd off Amazon. This low budget independent film is about as good as they get, wonderful storytelling, great script, loved the cast, and the effort is a throwback to quality low budget films like The Evil Dead and Phantasm.

NIGHT FEEDERS is simply one of the best low budget indie flix I've ever seen. Its got a great story, nice pacing, and surprisingly effective acting. What it lacks in special effects it makes up for in spades with humor and talent.I DON'T know Jet Eller although he did drop me a note after reading a review that I'd written for Amazon.
