Haha, this movie is sooooo bad...
Acting is bad, script is bad, special effects are bad... Well, just about everything is bad. Don't watch it, a waste of your time...

Now there's a shocker - a bad Casper Van Dien movie. Who would have thought that?
Look the reason this film was soooo bad was it was filmed in 6 days and 1/2 of it was filmed in a call center (IDT) that I worked at in Puerto Rico.
It was nice to meet Casper and Linda(who is still beautiful), but other than that this was a mess from the beginning.
You can make fun of Casper all you want but he was a cool guy when I met him. He was impressed that I heard he was thinking of making ST3.
I never said he was a bad guy, just a bad actor. Most of my friends aren't great film actors (or film actors of any kind for that matter) and I am in no way indicting their character in this statement.
BTW - I loved Starship Troopers and I think Casper was certainly adequate for that movie.
ST1 was pretty good, but it made no pretense of being a serious piece of art. Casper was great in the part. Same with ST3.
I have not seen him in anything else to know if he is any better than that. However, Slayer makes me think of the old Ed Wood movies. $50 budget and 2 days to complete the movie...including writing.
I really hope that this is not the extent of Casper's acting skills.
Laughed when the woman in high command said "Dismissed!" and cheesy comedy music followed! :)
"Hey! Ladies! That was fun!"
I thought it was so cheesy that I ended up liking it!!
