Questions - Spoilers

I've given up trying to make sense of the plot. However, there are a couple things I could use clarification about.

1. Michael Madsen wakes up and the woman he's with is dead. How did she die, and why did he bury her outside?

2. Did the rich Arab kill the woman and man to "lighten the load"?

3. Was John dead or not? And if he wanted to kill the Arab's wife why didn't he do when he found her hiding by herself after her husband was murdered?



It's all fun and games until someone gets caught. Then it's larceny.
