What on earth was it?
Was it a 90min pilot episode for an ongoing series, or a once-off made for tv movie?

shareI THINK it's supposed to be the pilot for a series. But the show is just stupid, and I believe it's supposed to be quirky and cute, but came out obvious and unfunny.
I can't fault the actors, they were doing the best they could with the script they had, but this is just horrible.
Comcast said it was a movie. But then again they call pornos "fantasy."

I don't know for sure, but John Fortenberry's credits show mostly TV shows. Seems likely that it was a pilot. Looks funnier and more clever than most stuff that makes it to TV.
The USA advertisment sure made it look like a series. Maybe they only scheduled the first episode just to see the response, and if it got a high enough response they'll decide to scedule more. (Like, instead of scheduling the first six and then not show all of them because it does so poorly, or something).
sharei loved it, and thought it was a pilot for a new series during the advertisement, but sadly i'm beginning to think it was a made for tv movie. too bad. it was a original idea, and very funny.

If this helps, I was an extra on the show, and I was told it was a pilot.

I believed it was a definitely a movie; I just watched on Cinecanal (a movie channel in Latin American pay tv companies) this morning here in Chile. They did not announce it either as a "TV Show" or "Pilot", just as a plain "movie".
I loved it, perhaps it is not material for a tv series, but it is quite amusing and original for a movie.
