Personally I don't think any other english actress could have pulled this off.
Anyone else agree that this was a top performance?

shareI'm watching Longford now, and I must say that I am amazed at Samantha Morton's skill as an actress. I just saw her in the Libertine last ngiht, and I'm totally shocked to find that it's the same woman! Wow. My hat's off to her, she's a gem.
