Reboot the Superman franchise with Tom Welling as Superman & Erica Durance as Lois!

It looks like Krysten's plate is very full these days. No reason for her to return to a dieing show. Ever since the neighbor's were discarded, this show has been on a death watch.

reply

You're damn right.

The show had gone down an endless spiral ever since Jeff and Steph left.

I so hoped that they would return this new season but they haven't. Now I'm definitely sure that this series will end within a couple of episodes.

The season premiere especially was such crap. I can't believe they're really dragging this show til its death, which btw will happen very soon. It's already on FRI and it's not funny anymore. Why did they get rid of the Woodcocks anyway?

reply

I thought it was pretty decent. If you keep thinking of the show as it used to be, you'll never be satisfied. Overall, good effort. Looking forward to the rest of the season. Oh.. and I like the new actress way better than the old one.

reply

This show just keeps getting worse and worse.

First season good, 2nd season good, 3rd and on, worse and worse.

reply

It's impossible to take any show seriously when the people involved with it could care less. They're just in it for a paycheque and going through the motions.

Good for Krysten Ritter. She has blown up way past that *beep* show. She is doing movies and QUALITY tv now like her amazing turn on Breaking Bad. I dont blame her for not wanting to go back on this terrible unfunny show.

I caught the tale end of the show and thought it was Krysten Ritter and got all excited. After all Jane from Breaking Bad was dead, so I thought she came back to the show. Then when I viewed the show, it wasn't her, just a girl who looked sort of like her.

Wow, they are on daughter number three. There was that horrible blonde one in the middle too. They made a self-referencing joke about it too...which added to the overall horror of the episode. It was horribly unfunny. It was so stale in parts, like the actors didn't even want to be there, it had weird camera angles at times and ended up seeming like a high school play.

She made a really good choice, doing Breaking Bad over this. Til Death is going downhill in a very bad way.

The inside joke on the season opener "You look like a different person" - or words to that effect.

Yet another new Allison in tonight's episode. That's gotta be some kind of record!

reply

Yep...it must be...I think it's kinda funny at this point. Too bad I love the show.

Sadly, the Woodcocks were written out because the lame brains at FOX wanted to save money and make the show cheaper with a lower cost staff and the god awful Kenny. TERRIBLE!! The writing is even wayyyy worse. This show was decent in seasons one and two, and ever since season three it's taken a nosedive. Just like FOX cancelling "Back To You" to save money (they noted the high production costs because of the two producers, as well as Heaton and Grammer) this was a mistake. The show doesn't even have the same feel as the first two seasons as you have mentioned.

So you want a realistic, down to earth show that is off the wall and swarming with magic robots?
