Ally #1 The original and the best. I'm glad the actress's career is taking off.
Ally #3 She's ok
Ally #4 She's really annoying but not as bad as #2
Ally #2 She's just boring and she's a bad actress. It's like she's not even trying to be like the character.

I never paid enough attention to notice the change, but I just saw an episode and was thinking how I can't believe I used to think this chick was hot. Ahaaaa!

Krysten Ritter and Lindsey Broad were the best. It's not even worth mentioning the other 2. :\

Ally #1 and #3 were the best. The current Ally #4 can't act and is ugly, she looks like a rat!!!

I only watch this show every so often. I knew the role of Ally has changed but didn't know it was THAT many times.

Watching the show now. My guide says it's a new ep and Laura Clery is in it. The title of the ep is called "Ally Abroad" where she's supposed go to Europe. I don't know if this show is running in episode order or what..

Ally 4 as Kenny calls her, seems to be all over the place now. She played Ted's girlfriend "Gooch" on Scrubs. Leno and Carson Daily both had her on their shows the last couple of weeks as part of a female comedy duo called "Garfunkel and Oats". I don't find her funny or a good actress. It seems like she's getting lots of work based on her odd looks. And every role she's had it must be in her contract that she has to play her banjo and sing a quirky song!

oh wow LOL I live in shickshinny pa, that is where the original is from, shickshinny is a town of 2500 LOL I liked her best, is the girl on tonights yet another one? I dont understand why they keep changing the daughter and why they keep showing different ways they get engaged and different marriage ones im really confused. loved this show the first year, but it has gotten so weird this year I am thinking of going back to watching afhv. and I dont like the girl you have as number 4 either, she just seems way out of place.

UGH! Two back to back eps. The first ep had Ally #2. Now this one is back to Ally #4.

I think you pegged it just right. Saw Clery on last night. Not even close.

What the hell is wrong with the producers of this show anyway? The original premise was old couple and new couple...(Kat Foster was freakin' smokin). Now, what are they doing? Interchangeable Ally's, no other married couple.

If Joely Fisher wasn't such a juicy piece of pie, I wouldn't watch at all.

WTF is up with all the changes? I'm watching this show for the first time (baby shower ep) and they made comments about different Allys on the show as if this was a normal thing.

Then I came here and became even more confused!

Is this like 'Roseanne' where they changed Beckys due to issues with the actresses? I know Alicia Goranson was the first Becky, then Sarah Chalke, then back to Goranson.

Wait, WTF? Blossom? Arg, so confused!

Well Roseanne had a good reason for two Beckys.

The first Becky went off to college in real life. But she still had a contractual agreement to do the show another season.

As did Sarah Chalke have a contract.

So in the 8th season they alternated the two.

On this show it makes no sense.

There was no issue with Becky. Goranson decided to go to college. When she wanted to come back Roseanne let her. They had fun with it.

Yeah, tonight's episode had Doug saying it was his fifth Ally, yet IMDB only lists 4. What's the deal?
