wierdsville

OMG why does everything that comes out of Canada Suck!!!! This movie was so
horrendous . They also crank out the worst Lifetime Network Movies too. I
can't believe that people actually liked this (must be canadians).

Except that...you're wrong? Well, I couldn't say that, it's a matter of opinion, but I happened to really enjoy this movie. And I'm not Canadian, clever as that theory is.

Ah yes, because France saying they didn't want to join us in war made them such a terrible country.

In fact, they have the same freedoms as we Americans do. Perhaps even more. Their decision to not send people into battle is their right as a country and should not be frowned upon.

reply

85-95%? You are so wrong. It would be less than that. Yes, many of us hate Americans but not everyone is ignorant.. but you certainly are.

Why shouldn't we hate America? You are destroying the planet.

reply

Most of the first world is destroying the planet. Spread that blame around a little bit, sir.

reply

Where did you get your figures? 85-90%? And I think you should know that Canadians do not hate Americans, Canadians hate American politcal policy and stereotypical ignorance/ arrogance illustrated by posts such as yours.

I suppose that 10 million you speak of trumps the miliions and millions that America gave the Al Queida to start a war with other middle eastern countries, or the weapons America sold to Sadam decades ago. And as far as the census is concerned Islam is still a minority religion, not even close to dominating Canada which is still largely secular, which is more than what can be said for America.

I think you are confusing two issues. While historically Canadians have identified themselves in relation to Americans, mostly by being "not-American", Canada is not commonly anti-American. They are two very separate things leading back to the loyalist migration of 1783 and continuing through to today. In all historical instances the US has not proven herself to be Canada's friend and yet relations are still amicable.

As a side, "angrying" is not a word.

I thought it was pretty good, forgettable but perfectly entertaining. I'm not even a Canadian either, I'm British.

reply

It was the equivalent of movie viewing diahhrea

reply

I disagree. I'm American, but I get Canadian tv becuase of my job, and it's far better.

And I enjoyed the movie.

God you're ignorant. You can't even spell. Tons of great stuff comes from Canada.. including this movie.

reply

I liked Weirdsville, I thought it was funny. Directing was great, dark humour was great. I didn't see anything "horrendous" about it. And I'm not Canadian I'm from the uk.

It was entertaining on some levels and it managed to keep my interest. It's just that at times it got SSSSSSOOOOO boring and plain out intolerable to watch... it wasn't a terrible film, just not a fantastic one either...

Adam Lambert for AI 2009!

starting your post with OMG makes you lose credibility and the fact that you can't even spell the title of the movie right makes you look very stupid right from the start
