They should have hooked up and brought some real passion to this film. They obviously had a deep connection since Paul lost his son, and Annie her fiance, but they could have now shared a VERY DEEP, VERY PENETRATING connection.

I've known couples like this in similar circumstances. Really no biggie, as long as it's not illegal ages.

Well, it's kinda a biggie if a late-50s man puts the moves on the 20-ish fiancee of his late son.

It's not illegal according to the law, but when 55-year-old Daddy starts to snuggle up to 21-year-old Annie, who only a few months ago was having a great time in bed with his son -- it's still weird.

The movie played it just right -- there was still affection between Paul and Annie, but it was very much in the 'father-daughter' category.

That would be disrespectful. I also appreciate when movies decide not to put in the generic love story. Not every movie calls for it. It seems like every single movie these days puts in some sort of love story when it isn't necessary. And there is only so much you can do with a love story so it's not like its some interesting and different story that truly adds to the movie.
