I was going to buy this dvd, but for the sole purpose of seeing toni collette in it, i heard that her role was great in it, but reading a few other reviews ive heard it was a really tiny role, i was just wondering for part 1 & 2 about how long is she in this for?

The whole mini-series is about three hours long and Collette has maybe 30 to 45 minutes of screen time? Maybe less, but her role is important and she's wonderful in her role, so it might seem like more than it is. There is not really a few lead characters and everyone else in supporting roles. All the major people have an equal amount of screen time.
P.S. My first thought was to respond, "not long enough" to your thread title, but when I saw that no one else had posted, I thought I should be serious. ;-)
