What the hell did I just watch?

6.6 rating on Imdb, meaning usually that it is worth to watch for me.

This movie however... it really is a bad movie... I can make a whole list of things that don't work in this movie, but you can also just not watch the movie.

A horror/thriller? To me it really fellt like a comedy.

This movie is for an audience who's around 12-16, who actually would think this is a realistic movie.

This is NOT a realistic movie.

A nurse who's around 30 years old that dates some stereotypical black gangster who brags about having killed a lot of people while the girl doesn't mind at all. She hit someone with her car in the middle of the city, and just drives to her garage with the bloody guy still in her window knowing no one saw her... Do I need to go on?

Crap movie, don't bother. Only the sex scene was ok :)

It's based off a real life story that happened in my hometown ATX. So it is realistic, no one saw her/or they did and they didn't report it. Also her boyfriend helped her dispose of the body. Not saying that makes him a "gangsta" but he had no problem disposing of a body, I like to believe there is a mindset that goes along with that. Anyway watching it now

Sorry it happened in fort worth not austin. Could've sworn it here. Either way Texas is Texas and it's still messed up.

It is kind of SUPPOSED to be a black comedy I think.

I like Mena Suvari (and I too enjoyed the sex scene), but she is SERIOUSLY miscast in this. There's no problem with changing the character from black to white. But there's white and then there's WHITE. Mena Suvari could play a good trophy wife or hot suburban soccer mom, but she's definitely not "gangsta" even with the corn-rows. The scene where she beats up her boyfriend's tough-looking Mexican sex partner is laughable.

They should have either used another actress or changed the CHARACTER. They could have done basically the same thing with a prissy, spoiled, self-centered white girl who gets guys to do everything for her. Suvari would have been great at that.
