I really liked Lili Taylor as Ariel. She made her character loveable. I did like Ariel quite a bit in the book, too. I really enjoyed the scenes she had with Leonard. They seemed to be closer than they were in previous years (at least from what Leonard said)

I noticed that Ariel seemed more friendly in the movie to Heather in general. Her personality seemed a bit more upbeat in the movie, too.

I noticed there was a cat in a scene in the middle of the movie where a cute white and brown cat is on the bed. Was this Sancho?

Uhhmmm, I don't know, something is always off with her, she seems to be trying too hard.

I liked her very much too, even when the character did things that weren't particularly admirable. And oh, how she did glow.

I loved her in this; reminded me a bit of Zoë Wanamaker. I thought "she is new to me", but checking her filmography I found that she had appeared in smaller roles in five other movies I have seen, without my having noticed her. I will watch out for her in future.
