Mark Strong.. totally underrated.

I live in the middle east and I have a few Jordanian friends/colleagues.. Mark Strong was unbelievably Jordanian/Arabic for anyone who's not. His portrayal brilliantly absorbed the pride, the cultural influence and personality traits so very well. I wish he gets noticed more.
The movie was entertaining.. there were a few predictable instances but all in all, well directed. Respect to the Old Man who knows his job pretty well. DiCaprio was brilliant... I do not care for some silly negative reviews here. The movie has been entertaining, thrilling and intelligent enough for a film of this genre and handling a topic like this.

i thought he had a great performance. should really get more recognition. I actually thought he was an arab actor. The man's a chameleon.

I think Mark Strong also played a Lebanese (Mussawi) in Syriana (may have been a Palestinian).

He was the contact that caused George Clooney's charactet to be kidnapped.

I completely agree. His performance deserved a recognition; even a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination. I completely inhabited this character and gave the best performance out of the entire cast! He easily stole the film from both the two Hollywood heavyweights!
