Bad, ugly, not good

Bad actors playing. Bad idea. Bad montage. No even famous english humour, just grey and boring didacting preechy film. Something is very, very rotten in the United Kingdom.

I just watched this last night. It's still better then most of the crap America keeps inflicting upon the world. At least this film actually tried making a point about government, law etc and had some meaning to it. That's the kind of film I enjoy. I don't care at all for the rubbish coming out of hollywood like inferior remakes of asian films and pointless mindless dumb action movies.

Lots of crap comes out of Britain as well. We just don't see much of it. We see the stuff that has recognizable actors and they think will do well in the US.

Mate, what are you on about? 95% of the best movies come out of the US, no question. Amazingly great movies do come out of Britain too, but this sure as *beep* isn’t one of them. I mean, seriously, if you rate this as a good film, and most of the better action movies out of America as bad, then you are a *beep* idiot anyway and you’re just being belligerent.

Go to the loo, 'cause all the *beep*'s coming out your mouth instead of your a-hole...

reply

I didn't think it was the best of what's coming out of Britain these days but it was still pretty good. In any case, it's better than most of the crapola coming out of Hollywood these days.

Very bad movie, but good actors (Sean Bean, Bob Hoskins)

reply

Good actors embarrasing themselves like nothing I've ever seen before, by christ this is an awful film

reply

The thing that bothered me most: combination of the shaky cam and it being shot on video. Was an assault on my eyes. I can tolerate a poorly written/acted/directed movie, but not this. Sorry.

Yes there is something rotten - the scum which is taking over our beuatiful country. Blame that scum called Labour

You know that person you see at parties who says something like "the government are rubbish!!!" or "all nonces should be killed!!!" and thinks that's profound political commentary. Well he made a film, its called Outlaw, and the results aren't pretty.

reply

You know those people you used to see on campus who said things like, "The cops are pigs" or "All conservatives should be killed". Well they've made a society they call a "Progressive Culture" and the results aren't pretty.

In fact it's visibly rotting all around us....

reply

Quite possibly. Outlaw is still rubbish though.

Someone's sitting there mate

reply

Agree PapaT.
With Nick Love and Danny Dyer and Sean Bean's names attached to this film I thought it was going to be good. I hadn't heard about it at all (I live in Spain) and happened upon it tonight on TV. It's now half past one am and I wished I had gone to bed because it wasn't worth the late night. A good idea for a film with some good actors but I feel it was executed poorly. Sorry Nick, you could have and have done better.

For such a "bad" film it has a somewhat decent rating on this site. How can that be?

It's because this movie has followers. I gave it a 7 with shaky camera and all.

I have to admit i didn't really like the first half but by the end it grew on me a little.

I can see why people didn't like the camera work. It was a bit annoying. I'd like to see the exact same movie with "normal" camerawork and see the difference.

Great film.

Good, pretty, good.

Terrible terrible movie, difficult to watch all of it. I suppose acting was ok considering such a weak plot.
