sucks to cause it had potential, being connected to the original series.

all because Rings didn't perform well.

Warner Bros should just make a sequel to the 2009 reboot with a winter setting.

The Ring looks a mess

The rights revert back to New Line next year anyhow. That means Paramount couldn't have cashed in on potential sequals to a new movie. IMO, they had 5 years before the rights went back to Newline, and they blew it. Constant re-writes, postponements, etc ruined this. It isn't hard to make a F13 movie. Hopefully New Line will d a movie in 2018

Yep I remember on the message boards for this film one dude saying "this film is never coming, it will be cancelled" then another dude always getting upset saying "you're stupid casting has begun, youvtroll etc"
Guess he wasn't a troll after all lol
