Is it weird that i hate football but love this show?

I went into this show hating football and knowing really nothing about it but the show just hooked me and i fell in love with the characters and story arcs.

Its just weird to think about hating a sport the entire show is based around but still loving the show.

It's not weird, the same happened to me. It even made me realize how exciting this sport is, although I still think it's too dangerous. I also learned some of the rules.
