An entertaining, but exhausting show.

Currently streaming Series 1, watching episode "Wind Sprints" right now and i feel exhausted just watching it, the physical football training as well as the drama that goes on in these characters lives are more than enough to make viewers tired.

Not really. I lived this life thru HS. I remember coming home and sitting in a bathtub for hours out of exhaustion. Now it seems normal. We never won state and I wasn't great.

It's edited because I can't spell.

"Exhausting" is a word I also thought of while watching this show. When I first caught an episode I was beyond impressed but also wondering if I could handle just how emotional the show is. It has gone on to become my favorite drama ever, and I grew to really appreciate its intensity. FNL's trademark is its ability to get even "grown men to cry" as so many reviewers have put it, and if you don't love that aspect of the show, it may not be for you. Personally, I think it's brilliant.

That's part of its appeal. Very few shows that are this sentimental and emotionally vast are also this engaging and well-executed. It's exhausting, but it's also fulfilling.

I've always described it as "draining," so "exhausting" works just as well.

It is going to get wet in here tonight. Lace your boots up, kiddies.
