One of the few shows where I appreciated the political aspect.

What I loved about B&S was that the show never really pushed a political agenda (well other then approval of gay marriage). The show always had a political back drop (which was what lacked in S5) but what was so great about it was it never really took a side or stand. It always presented both viewpoints and sides through various members of the family. I always loved this about the show. It's what made it more real. Family and friends don't always agree and see things the same but somehow they still manage to coexists. Something today's political climate needs to learn. But that's a whole other story. ;)
