Watching S5 for FIRST time -

so please, no (at least major?) spoilers, though I get that I'm at risk!

I'm on the fifth or sixth episode, and it's bugging me that Tommy's been mentioned only once or twice - in passing, and then only as part of the "list" of family members. Bugging me because a) I can't recall just how things were left with him back in Mexico - I believe that's when we last saw him? (I had a viewing time-gap.) Still trying to find himself, perhaps? and b) because it's just weird! I mean, toss in a line here or there; "Yup, Tommy will be a full-fledged monk/CIA agent in two more years, then we can finally see/discuss him (SSHHHH!!)"

Did/does this bother anyone else? It just isn't the
Walkers *not* to blather on about each other.

(*Not* asking for closure to his storyline. Unless it's happened and I missed it?!)

Are you sure have seen season 4?  Because that's when Tommy came back from Mexico and that's where he went to Seattle to try and fix things with his estranged wife Julia and trying to get his daughter Elizabeth back. He then briefly came back to help Nora with the whole business around Ojai and Dennis York, but after the closure of Ojai (eps 4.23) he disappeared again. Presumably to Seattle.

Tommy will be back in season 5, no worries. 

In seasons 4 and 5 they change the way the DVDs work. Previously they put 4 episodes on each disk and you could see them all on the screen. However, starting in season 4 they put 5 episodes on each disk and, confusingly, they put 3 on the first screen, and then two more hiding on the "next screen". So it's easy to miss episodes. Maybe that happened to you?
