Well... SRK doesn't have the backing of An international company like Sony Pictures... He used his own money earned from KBC to produce this movie.... SRK is an astute businessman...(Many reports suggest he's already made a profit of 50 crores..) Anyways.. Whether you accept it or not its Brand SRK Vs SONY PICTURES..... It'll be interesting to see who comes out on top...
As far as I am concerned i already have my first day first show tickets for OSO..... I think, Saawariya in all probability will be the better movie and will get the better reviews.... but the blockbuster will be OSO...
I'm watching both, but OSO first. Overseas Saawariya might win, as here in Melbourne OSO is only showing in three theatres while Saawariya is showing in more places. But in India, I have a feeling OSO will win big time.

Saawariya falls at the hands of OSO, atleast that's what I am reading/hearing.
EDIT: Both movies out to a good start, OSO is getting positive reactions while Saawariya is getting many negative reports.
No one's buying Saawariya tickets mainly due to bad reviews, first day both movies were housefull but now its a completely different story.
shareSony had a 20 crore budget to promote Saawariya and the promos were everywhere, and on every web site. But overseas Saawairya has taken a hyuge beating.
In the US it made $600,000 to OSO's >$1,400,000 and in UK OSO is firmly in top 10 while Saawariya is no where.
I think Sony miscalculated on how best to enter the Indian market. This is not a Diwali film and may have done a bit better at another time. And there are other vehicles that could have done much better as Sony's launch film. Bhansali's films are not huge box office successes (except Devdas) and it is not lack of publicity that keeps people away.

very very very dissapointed with saawariya, really had high hopes, the movie lacked a soul, apart from ranbir & the stunning sets it all went wrong for bhansali.

shareSaawariya is good. I am a huge Shahrukh fan, but Ranbir and Sonam's acting beat out all acting SRK has done in a long time, especially his acting in OSO.
