Ranbir looks like a jerk...he would be more suitable for roles like rajpal yadavs...and sonam kapoor looks like a cheap slu...t.

if it wasnt a BHANSALI film it wouldnt even take a 20-30% opening.
even with BHANSALI this film will get only 65-75% opening, due to Om Shanti Om.
I found Sonam quite serenely beautiful looking but Ranbir was very strange looking for me. And he copies all the Hritik moves in dancing - maybe just because he is so tall he kind of reminds me of Hritik.

in my opinion a star is like hrithik..where almost everyone is saying he looks mindblowing.
I don think its fair to judge them by their looks..its their acting which is important...i think they already have too much pressure due to their lineage!so maybe we should just wait and watch if their parent's talents has rubbed off on them!:)

Ranbir has the real old school bollywood look, so its cool to see a guy like that getting roles. He has a real normal perrson look. And Sonam is pretty, in the movie she looks pretty good. A cheap slut would look much different, like one of the girls from Phonebooth, not Saawariya.
maybe they both got these roles because they wanted the main characters to NOT look like stars..sometimes people appreciate that too.

I think it's funny that they were both ADs on Black. Also, I saw the Star of India episode that had a Saawariya special and SLB says when he first met Sonam she was pretty chubby, but because she had a beautiful face, he said she should be an actress. Apparently, she said that she was too fat to be an actress. I thought that was such a cute story, and Sonam seems like such a sweet, humble person. Ranbir comes off as very confident and outgoing. That's my take :)

You've gotta have the whole package to an extent, and I might not be Hrithiks biggest fan, but it's an insult to him to say he is a star just coz he looks good, he also acts good and thats what makes him appealable.When it comes to Ranbir and Sonam, she's pretty and she's something fresh an untainted I like her look and Ranbir has a face that needs particular lighting at times, but the dude stole my breath with his acting.

COMPLETELY agree with you. Ranbir has a look that takes you some time to appreciate. he's not mind-blowingly WOW like Hrithik Roshan or John Abraham but there's this boyish quirk that will get to you eventually. after watching him on the big screen, he is much more attractive.
