I just rented this movie, because I love horror movies and I never heard of this one so I read the back and it sounded pretty cool I popped it in the DVD player and watched 10 min. of it...I finally shut it off cuz it was so stupid I mean you could tell it was filmed by amateurs....the acting was ok not good enough for movie material and the directing sucked.....overall bad movie i'm really surprised that it got released.

Yeah, I know. I've noticed that there have been quite a few movies in the "New releases" section of Blockbuster that have rather professional looking packaging, but the movie is obciously done by amateurs at, or close to, college film student caliber. Yet, these movies are the same price as regular, high budget blockbuster movies!!
Now I know, that big budget does not necessarily equate to "good movie", but movies like Heebie Jeebies and Ghostwatcher are proof that low-budget and amateur film making CAN equal to crap :P
This film is on the same caliber of crappy high school films. You know, the kind where a sense of asethics and pacing are almost nonexistant. Where often the camera technique is disregarded and the actors are friends they picked off the streets. You know. Mom and Dad financed kind of crap. And the "writers" are people who wrote this thing late at night and maybe then it seemed like a good idea, but it was only sleep deprivation. Hell, the whole movie was probably shot late at night, that way the actors and crew don't think about how terrible the movie is. They just shoot it. The editing seems like even the makers of this film think it's bad. They didn't want to take the time to even attempt to make it good. Then the DVD release is just as an attempt to get people's quick cash. Cause they know that this will be in the 3 dollar bin in no time at all.
