There seems to be something wrong with the sukob plot altho if im missing anything,it would be great if you could clarify something to me.:D

Supposedly, claudine got married earlier than kris..if their cursed was supposedly "sukob sa kapatid". shouldnt it be that the curse would only start during kris's wedding?

on the other hand...some people would say that they were married on the same day, but, isnt that a loophole in local superstition that "sukob sa kapatid" could be averted if the siblings would be married on the same day...

that is true! pls ask this questions to anyone who had seen the movie. people (filipinos) just don't know how to pay attention to those important details of a movie.

Yeah, This movie wasn't subtitled at the theatre that i saw it in.
My freinds don't speak tagalog, so we were just like..what?
But what I could judge without dialog, not a good movie.

yeah. i was with the man in the non subtitled theatre. it didnt seem like that great of a horror movie, especially in comparison to the greats. but compared to the grudge, even without knowing whats going out or whats being said...ever...its still better.

The Grudge is sooo boring. It only intends to scare you without making you think at all. It's got NO STORY. No twist whatsoever. Just scary figures but no plot. A BRAINLESS movie I should say. The reason why I like Sukob is because it has a plot. So while it might be less scarier than The Grudge or any other asian horror movie for that matter, I still like Sukob better because of the story. For that I would classify it more as a "mystery movie" rather than a horror movie, much like M. Night Shyamalan's films that are wrongly dubbed as horror but are actually mystery movies--The Village, for example. But of course, if you can't understand the dialogue, you wouldn't appreciate it that much.

too bad for you that you couldntunderstand the movie. the dialogue was essential in understanding the movie. the movie had a good plot based on the tradtion "sukob" though it wasnt as scary as the grudge i enjoyed this movie more!

I think the curse is when both siblings get married in the same year.

maybe? but still, sukob should have started on sandy's wedding , not diana's !!!

I think the sukob really started on the day of Kris' wedding. Bernard (I forgot his name in the movie) died on the day of Kris wedding. The apparition of sukob and other events before was probably a sign or a warning to them.

I thinks what's really scary about the movie is the story. I myself is afraid to have the same fate as the two sister. Having a series of misfortune happens to people around us and that's what we do not like to happen to us personally. The dialog is really essential to understand the movie.

warnings nd signs are part of sukob!!! there were no warning nd signs before sandy's wedding. there was just grace, but that's a diff story!!!

I was under the impression Dianas wedding was Sukob sa Patay and Sandys wedding was Sukob sa Kapatid.

NO. r u saying d apparitions differs from each event concluded?

i don't remember anything drastic happening before sandy's wedding

Actualy there were signs before and during both of them got married. I dont think anyone died till they were both wed. Maybe the guy ringing the wedding bell but he could be a sign.
