i quite enjoyed it, didnt really latch on to the relationship between swain and that woman (re her kid)
would of been nice to see the reaction from the media and seeing what the fans thought of swain after that and whether the team went down or not
id like to think they went down but came back up...
yeah it was ok, wasnt as good as i thought it would be. still i did tape it so i'll watch again soon i think.
shareI think, maybe I'm alone on this, the fans would have forgiven the Winstone character because most people are pretty corrupt themselves and seem to secretly admire complete bastards , maybe that's why it ended before we saw this depressing conclusion. The club only got the player they sold to a Spanish club because of corruption in the first place so he has effectively got them millions for nothing. It all gets murky and corruption can be seen as legit.
The film was a bit OTT but I enjoyed it, I guess I'm easily pleased.
