shareHeard about this on Greg Fitzsimmons' Sirius show. Bummer. It really seemed like the show had stepped it up when they gave it a full hour, but Fox can't bear to keep decent programming on the air. Instead, we'll get what is likely to be a painfully unfunny Wanda Sykes crapfest.
I wonder if it could be reborn in some facet on cable. It always seemed to me Talk Show would work better on Comedy Central since a traditional late-night format show would fit nicely with Daily Show and Colbert.
Of course, Fox probably has Feresten locked in some sort of asinine development deal that they won't follow through on and keep him from moving somewhere else.
Holy crap, talk show with Spike Feresten is still on the air, I thought it got cancelled years ago.
shareThe show was funny the first season but lately it has been really horrible. I like Spike but I am not sad or suprised to see the show cancelled. I don't think Spike it to suprised either. They do the same thing every episode and when a show is only 30 min that gets annoying. Maybe he'll get to host a different late night show. I think that the show has one more season though cuz it said season finale not series, so who knows maybe next season will be better!
