How I wish this movie had ended (*Spoilers*)

I liked this movie and interpreted it as being less about animal rights and more about a midlife crisis, or really more of a complete mental breakdown.
I like that even though Peggy was given a surprising chance at redemption (taken in by her brother, given back her job after stealing from the boss), she realized this was not the life she wanted or needed.
However, I was really hoping she would end up working at the farm animal sanctuary, or even better: open her own animal sanctuary. Maybe she could rescue dogs from the pound and start or work with a Cesar Milan-type program to rehabilitate them.
