Well worth the price and heartrending. Incredible footage. John Scheinfeld has don a superb job.
This is an excellent film well worth seeking out, providing a very candid look at a tremendously talented artist who had more than his share of demons. My only quibble – and I don't blame the film for this – is I'll never quite listen to Harry's music quite the same way again after this extremely depressing film.
I knew he had the familiar struggles with drink and drugs, but I didn't know the extent of it until now. That was Harry's life, unfortunately. For the rest of us, his music makes ours a lot more livable. 9/10 stars from me.
