This movie totally misrepresented true Puerto Rico!

I live in Maryland, am half white and Hispanic- and also have a beach house in Fajardo,Puerto Rico-about 40 min east of the capital, San Juan.
I saw this movie last night and I have to say that this movie totally made PR look like some trashy ghetto area.
Did you see the beautiful houses and landscaping in the background? How does this look ghetto to you? That place was made out to look like gang-ridden LA-which it is not.
There are beautiful resorts, country clubs and many upscale places.

The part of the movie near the basketball courts was near the San Juan fort which is a very touristy area.

I think it's so sad that this place is portrayed as a bad area. People there are super friendly and touristy.

Yup. Should be ashamed of themselves. As a Puerto Rican, would never take part in the movie. They shouldn't make movies about Puerto Rico if they're going to be like this. Hollywood messing with people's minds.
