Red runner? (mild spoiler)
Was the red runner in the beginning of the movie just a red herring, or was there a significans to it that I missed?

shareI can't understand what you mean by "Sheri Appleby" - she may have been the instigator but it certainly was not her in the red jacket...my guess, she knows how uptight David is and that he would notice the red-jacketed figure, especially when latter tried to get into David's Apt.door... Of course, the chase introduces us to Audrey ("well, I'm awake now") which for me makes TKF worthwhile.
