Where's Dan?
So where's Dan now? And who's house were she and Abbie staying in?

While home for the reunion, Gillery and Abbie were staying at Gillery's parents’ house (which Dan now lives in) - but in the short - Dan was conveniently absent due to story telling time constraints.
However, hopefully soon to be explored in the feature, he will play a more predominant role because of the complex web of new secrets that are exposed and finally allowed to come out.

Ah ok. I guess it was a little easier to keep it as a secret til the end if you didn't have him in the background of every shot. I didn't actually know what the storyline was when I first saw it. People had recommended it to me because I love Annabeth Gish (and probably because i'm gay! lol) so I thought when Blake walked into the cafe, that it was gonna be some sort of "Teacher Becomes Involved With Student" storyline. Glad it wasn't. I liked this story.
If it does get made into a feature length film do you know if Annabeth will be reprising her role? I thought she was great. She seemed so natural and comfortable in scenes between Gillery and Abbie. The one that comes to mind especially was the one at the reunion where they're just sitting together, perfectly happy as a couple and totally comfortable with themselves. Great performances.
