A part of me...

I think the line "It's not a part of me unless it's by blood" should be dropped in the movie (if there's one made).
I just mean because that's something that you would probably say the opposite of to your gf! Your gf, when you've been together as long as i'm guessing Gillery and hers have, is part of you, part of your life etc. I would have thought saying that sort of thing would hurt her a bit.
