again it sucks that they full on kissed and did that to Nick, but they clearly belong together- just like Nick and Hannah belong together! He did deserve to be told about them, BEFORE they kissed- that is just drama waiting to happen!

I like both this show and Jericho for much of the same reasons and that has to do with the writing, characters, acting, direction, and scoring. Both are addictive because they are quality television and not due to any negative connotation. As to the original post, I really don't feel that they belong together. I think Ronnie and Aubrey will soon discover that they have nothing in common other than having hurt Nick and not having been able to take it back.

Was it not completely ridiculous though? Out of the blue she kisses him. She hasn't even shown a tiny bit of interest in him.
shareI wouldn't say ridculous, I'd say if anything she got caught up in the moment and did something she really can't take back. We know Ronnie is interested in her, we just never had any indication that she saw Ronnie as anything other than Nick's brother.

shareI like the idea of Nick writing a book about it, but I think it will get too complicated and would hurt Ronnie too much. But I didn't like the fact that Ronnie and Aubrey kiss. Although I do believe that Nick and Hannah are going to be the Ross and Rachel type characters that will eventually wind up together, but I can't see a situation where Hannah and Nick get together and Ronnie and Aubrey are together too. I just think that would be way to cartoony and soapie. I think eventually Aubrey will have to go back to her original home or something, it would just be too akward. I mean imagine a scene with the Commander and the Dean, Nick and Hannah, and Sam by the way, and Ronnie and Aubrey all sitting having dinner together. It's just too akward. As for Eddie, personally I have always been a Stacy Kiebler fan since her WWE days and would like to see them together, but I think that Eddie and Owen wil help each other forgive their respect loves and Eddie will stay with Janet and Owen will go back to Alison and his family.
shareI really think that Aubrey has detached herself from Nick. She seemed totally over him when he said he was leaving, and she told him off. Nick to some, is still seen as the guy that bails. I believe the Ronnie and Aubrey thing has been building up. Just when she loses faith in Nick this guy tells her everything she wanted to hear, something she was not getting from Nick. Just my perception.
shareI wouldn't say no interest. I can't believe she had NO clue. He pretty much ignored the girl she set him up with. He stares like a hungry puppy and gets all tongue-tied when she's around. Those are CLASSIC signs of a guys interest.
Also, I've never even been alone in a room with my brother-in-law, much less gone out of my way to go check on him if there is some sad/disappointing news. And, I sure as heck couldn't tell you what his favorite type of Coke is, much less how to make his favorite sandwich! She paid attention to what he was saying and she took the initiative to do something to make him happy. Not many girls/women would do that for the brother of their (soon to be ex, most likely with the way she and Nick were going) boyfriend like that. I mean, it's not like she and Ronnie grew up together and had this long standing other friendship that would explain it. I think she was interested in him... if in no other way than it's flattering when a guy acts that way toward/around you.
I think they'd be a cute couple, but I don't see it as a lasting relationship option. Eventually, Aubrey will move on and marry some rich guy who will help her become a famous writer and she'll forget all about the time she spent in the Ridge.
(Who knows, maybe they're gonna make a huge twist for her as a mean b!+@# who is really just trying to make a good story since she knows that Nick's book did so well!)

Hi coleburg83. In a small town people do really do tend to pass each other around. Yes. It is very common for friends to date and even some of their ex's. Like Hannah said in the pilot episode when Nick saw her with Big Cat, to the effect of "limited menu". I do not remember the exact words, but I am sure that is what she meant.
