Ninas resa combines actual footage plus...

reinactments of the day in the life of a girl Nina in Warsaw Poland for six years during WWII. English being my native language I watched this movie with subtitles, however I throughly enjoyed this movie. I would recommend it to anyone interested in the history surrounding WWII in this region during this time period.

Rating...10/10

I saw it today in Vancouver; it was very good. The structure of the film is similar to The Road to Guantanamo.

Is this available on DVD?

In Vino Veritas.

The first 10-15 minutes I thought it was an odd decision to combine an interview with a survivor from the holocaust (Director's own mother) mixed with war footage and a dramatization of the story narrated by the very Nina Rajmic 50 years later.
But slowly this movie captures your attention and finally ends convincing you. It's both; a powerful and sad story. Nina despite all the awful moments she lived during the WW2, tells the story with a wonderful touch of humanism.

BTW the DVD is available on my country at least. It comes in its original language(s) (basically polish/swedish). Besides it includes spanish subtitles. A spanish dub is included but I ignored it completely. I hate dubs!
