Bruce Springsteen?
This film is wonderful. From the first note, it captivates. Except for Bruce.
I know he's popular and mentions Roy in a song, but that is it. BS cannot sing, play or hold the camera. But there he is - because he is popular. He really lowers the otherwise high quality of this film.
I saw BS live once ... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Choreographed pop pablum with questionable musicianship. Bad vocals. Lyrics? Mundane stuff that maybe belongs on someone's FB wall or a tweet. I know dozens who agree, many of them professional musicians. Born to Run in the USA - "You ain't a beauty but hey, you're alright." Poor lyrics. Worse voice and playing yet worse. Silly songs. Half-baked band.
Music, what has happened? BS looks so out-of-hid-league on stage and he is. He is an embarrassment to himself. And to Roy. But, he made lots of $$$ from people that are spoon-fed what they must listen to. Boo Bruce .... Roy rises above the pablum.
KIAI ... please.
