The last couple sketches with the house-sitting boy and the Cher thing... those just weren't funny. I don't get why they would include those, and why at the end? Have it end on such a weak note? They should've done better. SURELY Farley has much better stuff than that.
shareThe Herlihy one was okay, but the Cher sketch was so unfunny. I'm not sure if Farley was playing a real person or what, because the audience thought it was funny but I didn't laugh once.
Could just throw in some slapstick taken out of Tommy Boy. That'd be better.
shareFarley was playing a real person, Lori Davis, who produced some hair care products. This is a spoof of infomercials that Cher did with Lori Davis selling her products at the time. Farley's impression of her was hysterical....if you were familiar with the infomercial.
I can totally understand not finding it funny if not familiar with the spots...but IMO if you were familiar with the RL spots, you would ROFL.
