I have the Lain Soundtrack and the Club Cyberia Mix, but I'm disappointed because neither of them have my favorite song from the series. It's the song played at Cyberia during the sequence where the druggie buys the sensory enhancement pill (I think it's the 2nd episode or so). The best genre I can describe it as is trance or house. Does anyone happen to know the name of the song?

There's another album out there called Lain: BOOTLEG that probably has it; I have all three, and what you're describing sounds awfully familiar. BOOTLEG has all those little short musical snippets that either didn't fit on the OST, or were nearly considered to be ambience, or musical cues; the shortest track, for example, is seven seconds, but there are others around three minutes. I'd give that one a look.
