I spotted another Goof!

Today I was watching this with my nephew and at one point the robot Villain said (after getting his genius powers): "The 'p' in pneumonia is silent"

Technically, no. In Greek it is pronounced pnev-mo-nee-ah. English speakers simply assumed it was silent because they aren't used to the "pn" combo.

Also: The "p" in Psychology is not supposed to be silent. And whenever you hear a word that begins with "ts" like tsunami or Paul Tsongas (Senator from Massachusetts in the 80's) the "t" isn't meant to be silent.

Ever since I was a kid I was amazed that English speakers can pronounce "sp" and "st" combos with no problem at all, but when you reverse the letters they have a hard time. Thus, assuming that they are silent.
