Why did the last episode end so abruptly???
I live in the UK and I am sure it said there were 13 episodes but only 12 were shown - was a final episode filmed?? If so why didn't they show it? What have they got to lose?

shareThey're showing it on Five this Sunday (August 26th) at 10pm & it's repeated on Five US the Friday after at 8pm.
For some reason they missed showing it for one week.

dont get too excited. The show doesnt even wrap up anything in its final episode.

For every decision, there's a consequence
Just watched all 13 episodes today, gotta say while I enjoyed the series they could have explained abit more and the ending could have been a bit better.. :(
shareI guess the cancellation note came very late in the production run. It looked to me like the final scene on the boat was tacked on late in the day to create some kind of 'closure' to the story.
I think a 2nd season or a back-end pickup of 9 new episodes to round out the 1st season would have followed the story to Florida, as indicated earlier in the episode.
Am I alone in feeling very cheesed off with Channel 5 for screening a series they knew had no conclusion and no follow up series without actually telling us. If I had known that the story would just stop without any of the threads being explained, I would not have wasted 13 weeks following it.
shareIf I had known that the story would just stop without any of the threads being explained, I would not have wasted 13 weeks following it.That's why they didn't tell you. They paid a LOT of money for it (there was a bidding war for the UK rights) at the upfronts, and they had to show it. They're not going to warn you off it, don't be silly.
