I read this several weeks ago. That in an episode of the Fox show "Bones", they are going to wrap up the unfinished "Vanished" storyline. Has anyone heard more about this?? Anyone here a "Bones" fan?
Not sure how that could be done well given all the high level intrigue etc. covered in Vanished. Bones is a much more grounded show with isolated onehour story lines, i dont think it would lend well to the idea
Well, Josh Berman is over at Bones now, and that's the only reason I can think of to do it. I suppose it would give him more prominence at Bones now, since he didn't originate the show. Maybe they'd parcel it out over a period of time. However, I think Berman has always overestimated the broad interest in the Masonic conspiracy and underestimated the public's interest in the individual actors. Yes, there were digruntled Vanished fans when they didn't wrap up the story adequately, but if Berman thinks they were simply fans of the storyline sans personalities, he's making the same mistake they made when they fired Gale. The notion seems to be that it doesn't matter who the detectives are -- "Harold, Boreanaz, whatever! As long as folks see those silly robes and hoods again, they'll be happy."

I sure hope the story is wrapped up in some shape or form. I watched the "final" episode last night, and have never felt so cheated by a show in all my life! That was in no way an 'ending', more like the cliffhanger ending to a Season 1 or something.
I don't think even one episode of Bones could explain all the loose ends, and what has Bones got to do with Vanished anyway in terms of premise. How would they link Bones to Vanished??
No. There was a passing mention of "Graham Kelton" in one Bones episode, played for laughs, but from the context it wasn't even clear if it was supposed to be the character from "Vanished" or not. Certainly Bones never "wrapped up" the loose ends from "Vanished". Since Vanished creator Josh Berman no longer works for Fox and has spent the last two years prepping a new series for debut this summer, the chances are slim to none that this rumor will resurface.
