What if Ben would have returned earlier and he would have married Elisabeth? She never said that she regreted her choice but I think she thought what was her life with Ben? In my opinion I think it would have been a better life, becuse she loved Ben more. Everything would have been different. If she just would have waited......
shareI think that she loved them both and because of that didn't regret her choice. Although I'm sure she wondered "what if?" very often. It seemed to me like she love Ben more because she didn't show feelings for Will until he became unavailable. I agree, things would have been different if she waited. But, she never would have Lisa as a grandchild, and I can tell Lisa will be an important part of her life because she decided to stay.
