stoopid film

Am watching this 1st time and am massive Lynch/ surrealist fan - I can't really fault it because it's so interpretive - Hopkins (watched Lambs the other night - I am not worthy - let's leave Hannibal...) is just making THAT film before he karks it... if I had the clout and the resource I'd think WTF just make it... I'm V much enjoying it - made me laugh - made me freak (a bit) but hey seriously - some of the images are beautiful and some of the situations are hilarious - some edgy (the Slater bit reminded me of Sandman's Dr Dream - fans will know what I'm on about) but end of the day I don't think that he stood a chance alongside Mulholland, Empire and Moustache (which if you've not seen is far more subtle but just as unnerving.) I'm enjoying it. So help me.
