Complete rip off of 'Stay' (Marc Forster/Ryan Gosling/N. Watts)

Wow this film totally used the same idea and story line, only much more irritating and confusing. By the end the movie actually makes sense, but after an hour and a half of being tortured I didn't care anymore.

There's already a thread about this. Still, I think you're wrong. I don't think he's dead at the end, (watch for the scene at the very end of the credits) and the movies have completely different themes and ideas behind them. So, no. It's not the same, even if it has a similar premise.

Stay was a much better movie.

Nonsense.

Glad you enjoyed Slipstream (I assume that's what your one-word post was implying) better than Stay.

I still stand by my opinion about Stay and I assume no offense was intended on either side. Peace out,

(since it's been quite a while and many movies ago for me, I don't remember the intricacies of either movie)

Stay was average i thought, but i think we get a better performance from hopkins, and for me, that makes it a better movie. but each to thier own i suppose.

Just started another post... apologies... but love Stay - wish Forster hadn't done quantum of poo... now Slipstream has ended feel like a bit of a nob because it's nowhere near as good as any other a.g. film have seen.... oh well.... live and learn....

Slipstream and Stay may have a slightly similar theory but they both look and feel completely different. I have seen Stay twice within a year and while watching Slipstream, Stay didn't even dawn on me.
