Movie Boycot

This is a fine example of how runaway production from the talented people of hollwood has made a seris of very bad movies with no premise at all. Endings with nothing at all, and just an outright disgrace......

Anthony and others have sold out the families that take pride in thier moving pictures..

This movie is close to the worst I have ever seen....

Chuck Noris makes better movies than this.

When will we see a GOOD MOVIE. I think we will see movie boycots soon if we keep getting stuff like this........

reply

Yeah...I'll also boycot this crap. It is a shame for Hopkins to make such a joke with the audience.

Um...

So you're calling for a Boycott on a film you haven't seen?

Or if you have seen it then you've already broken your own Boycott!

Or are you just trying to tell us that you watched it and that you thought it was 'not very good'

Usually a Boycott is called for some other reason (political or moral for example)

I call for a boycott on beetroot because it doesn't taste very nice! LOL

Wow, what a strange movie, if you can indeed call it that! I only made it through 40 minutes until i couldn't take it anymore. I know there are a few people who will love it, which is a crazier notion to me than the film itself. But some people just like these confusing, jumbled thought, cut to, flash back, dream sequence, subliminal message, who did what/where type of films. So i can't join the boycott no matter how much i dislike this "movie", but i can choose to turn it off, and that's exactly what i did!

reply

To be honest, So did I :-)

I saw this at the Chicago film festival... frankly, I liked it. Yes, there's little in the way of dramatic structure and traditional character development, but it's an amazing picture nonetheless. Slipstream evokes the dreamscape more effectively than any movie I've ever seen and it's truly amazing to me that such an irrational thing as dream-logic has been captured with such fidelity in a film. Here's to Mr. Hopkins who took a risk and made something truly unique.

reply

To be honest,
I dun get it either.
Stop watching after 40minutes or so.
Then I just fast forward it right up to the ending, LOL

To be fair, I do it from time to time.
Generally with titles that I'm already familiar with and don't want to see converted to a format they really don't fit. For example, I've boycotted I, Robot. I even picketed it (though that part was mostly just for fun).

Other times morbid curiosity wins... I couldn't help but watch Wargames 2... I just had to see what in the *beep* they could do to turn out a sequel to that.

Tell me, what exactly is a "boycot?" Is it somewhat related to a "boycott?" Hmm, maybe there's a correlation between people who know how to, you know, spell and read and things like that, and also enjoy this movie. Perhaps.

BURN! Just drop dead ignorant fools...

Sounds good, but not really. I'm well aware how to spell and read and things like that. And gave this movie a solid "3". ;-)

Personally, I really liked this movie. And Chuck Norris is a badass, lol.

...research quantum physics, einstein's relativity and you can understand this movie but none of you idiots care and would rather watch the fricking new spiderman movie. our society is doomed.

reply

Terrible movie, Hopkins, please stick to acting. And also act less. Don't choose quantity over quality.
