Did anybody like this??

If anyone liked this film what were the reasons for it?

'Let me tell you something my friend. Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane.'

I liked it. I thought it was hilarious fun. If you can't laugh at this stuff you have a limited sense of humor.

The movie kind of feels like just an extension of the series for fans. Honestly I didnt feel that as a whole it was up to par, but i still enjoyed it as a longtime fan.

Well, that explains it.

This feels SO incoherent, inconsistent, annoying and nonsensical, I had to wonder what the heck did the whole team take to decide to make this mess.

Still, even something based on something else, should work as a standalone production. Star Wars works as a standalone movie (before they added the 'Chapter IV: A New Hope' to it), although it's basically a part of a trilogy (I don't recognize anything else a canon).

I don't know what this is based on, but it being based on something else also explains the really weird name.

However, I kept waiting for the movie to start and something fun or funny to happen. The musics are awful, the actors are ugly and bad at their job, the performances are either annoyingly loudly over-the-top with constant screaming, shooting, etc. or under-the-bottom (?) with lackluster monotone mumbling.

The logical errors are too numerous to mention, but one thing comes to mind; Why would an asian girl dressed as a hooker ( = inviting men to come and hit on her at least) be so shocked that a man approaches and says something (completely innocent, too), AND have a tazer in her hand before he even approaches?

If she's just trying to get the lock open, WHAT is she doing with that tazer and why is it in her hand? Shouldn't she at least dig it out of her purse or something?

Also, why would he approach so stupidly and go so close before talking?

Why would she get SO scared and surprised that a man wants to help her, isn't she used to seducing men and having men all around her (wearing something like that, how could it be otherwise)?

Nothing about this scene makes sense - just like the rest of the movie.

I don't know what I am supposed to feel for any of the characters, should I pity them, laugh at them, or what? I don't get this at all, but at least it didn't completely suck, like Rat Race or Love Guru.

Um... because it was funny? It's not like they went over the top and made a big budget action movie. They had a joke about that in the first scene. But mostly it was the show in cruddy, hot, suburban Miami instead of cruddy, hot, suburban Reno. I can think of worse TV-to-movie adaptations. In fact, most of them are worse than this.

When the show fails, it's because of really dead scenes that don't work. I didn't find any of those in the movie. It was pretty fast paced and well edited. Also, it didn't rely on repeat skits like the show does with Terry or Andrew or the KKK guy or the bridge jumpers, or any of the other skits they film 20 versions of and then show until it isn't funny anymore.

Reasons:

-Seeing Wayne Johnson (The Rock) explode
-Long scene involving ludicrous masturbatory-madness
-Nick Swardson
-Watching a man sail into a whale
-Reno 911 crew anywhere

What are the reasons for not liking this Reno 911 movie, KilloD?

The scene at Suge Knight's birthday makes the movie great alone.

I've never seen a full episode of the show (don't know why after watching the movie). It's honestly one of the top 10 funniest films I have ever seen, and i'm a comedy loving shut-in (I've literally seen thousands of comedies).

The "jack it" scene in the first act had me in tears, losing breath (laughing really hard). The tit tattoo bit was great. The "officer pity sex" scene was hilarious. The whale on the nude beach was hilarious (and I'm not usually a fan of gag humor). There are so many reasons to like this movie. I'm going to start watching the show.

I felt there were enough jokes in there for everyone! I live in the UK and i am never likely to see the series. It is a top notch film.

BANG!!

I had no idea this was a tv series. Other posts are complaining etc. It's like the Simpsons movie, someone said to me oh I heard it was crap. I said having seen it that if you like the Simpsons you will love the movie.

I hope they make one with Scotland Yard.

I started watching the TV show because of the movie. I was surprised by how funny Garcia is on the show because he did absolutely nothing in the movie. He just looked like some quiet old man. lol Little did I know...
