good movie
i just watched this movie and i was really touched.

It may have been a good look at the unjustice women face in the predicament shown in Offside but there is not much of a story within the narrative. Most of it is filled with brief conversations and dialogue that only repeats the topic Offside is covering. But the final scenes do make up for it, there were touching moments which I feel the film makers wanted Iranian society to be like.
"I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not".
I agree with that summary, yeah.
The point that got me though was that one of the woman (forgotten the names since I saw it) was talking about how men aren't allowed to watch the woman play football but were fighting so hard to see the men play. Double standards are rife all over the world it seems.
"God, when I meet you, I'm gonna be pretty. If it's the last thing I do. I'll be a beautiful angel."
