Kristin Kreuk (Lana Lang) not even mentioned in doc

Kristin Kruek? Is she really as important to the Superman legacy as Tom Welling? The character of Lana Lang was definitely given a good amount of screen time. Annette O'Toole's interview was great--both for her Lana Lang and Ma Kent.

Could this have been due to a theater-like expectation of "jinxing" or "hexing" a production (like "that Scottish play"). I doubt it. Millar and Gough were both interviewed.

What's the real reason? This is a Hollywood production with real logistical and scheduling issues. You can't have everything. And boy the tried. This was a lengthy and fairly thorough production.

This was a Ken Burns film, but it was also a Brian Singer production. As a result, you can see the heavy use of _Superman Returns_ related resources (like Kevin Spacey as the narrator). Judging by the backdrops, Mark Hamill's and some others' interviews were filmed at Comic-Con 2005 (which Singer attended in a big way). A review of the documentary on BlueTights.net supports this view.

Besides.. What inspirational and insightful quotes could we have gotten out of Welling? Or Kruek!? Let's face it. They may have had relevant things to contribute, but they just didn't attend the right Con. Margot Kidder and Annette O'Toole did attend the right Con and had some nice quotables.

She is too much involve with Smallville that it is no longer consider 'a tv series about Superman's childhood and teenhood' it is now 'Lana Loves Clark'. I am glad that she wasn't mentioned, however, I wish they had mentioned that all of familar faces from the superman film were going to appear on the show.
