Liked this movie - but something seemed off?

So i enjoyed the general idea, and definitely the messages within it. Lots of overall truths in regard to society. Each of the characters 'revelations' was obviously the highlight of the film for me.

That being said, something about this movie seemed very.. cheesy? unbelievable? - almost like a lifetime movie?

Not sure if it was the directing, script, acting? or what.

But something just made everything seem rather cheesy. Idk thoughts?
